Ok Here goes. I looked through the list of reported bugs and I only really saw one that I have had, but I have a bunch more.
1. Are you using any Custom Content or mods ?
No, only eps, stuff packs and store content
3. If you're not using mod, did you never use them or did you take them out for the EP (as you are supposed to do)
I have never used them
5. Do you have University Life or just the Patch ?
University life
6. Which Patch Level are you at ?
18.0.126.021017
7. Did you start a new game or are you playing an existing ones ?
New Game
8. Did you transfer an existing Sim over or are they new/Pre-Made ?
Made new
9. What town are you currently playing ? EA or Custom ?
I can't remember the name, the Showtime one. But the problems have all been at University
10. What is your Operating System (Mac, XP, Vista, Win 7)
Win 7
11. Do you have the download or DVD Version of the game.
Bought the DVD but its installed using download
Here goes..
Problem 1: My Sims seem to have issues changing their clothes, as in they will stand frozen for HOURS waiting to change clothes. This can be a real problem if they need sleep and they just stand by the bed until 5 in the morning. So far I have only seen this at Uni and so far I have seen stalls to swimwear, pjs, outerwear, graduation robes, and shower pixels. It can really disrupt the game. There seemed to be a lot of not changing clothes, like my sims would turn up in their pjs and they would wait until they were inside to change into their outerwear. just weird.
Problem 2: Graduation, oh the joy. I had a brother and sister at school and they graduated together. I ended up redoing graduation 4 times, twice due to issues at graduation and once because of an issue going home (I will report that next). Ok so first time the brother went through and he got his diploma and extra trait fine but the sister waited outside for hours (I think due to the clothes issue) and when she finally got changed and inside the ceremony ended and she never got the extra trait or buff. So I retried, next time she took even longer to change and by 9pm she was nearly frozen to death... so redo. But another weird thing during this redo I got the badge for having gotten a business degree when neither of my sims had completed that one.
Problem 3: Third try at graduation, after graduating it was time to go home and the sims prepared to leave they appeared to be leaving and I got kicked to town view and then..... well nothing. It just stayed at uni and by about 3 am my sims were about ready to collapse so redo.
Problem 4: When trying to return to uni with the brother for a second degree I ened up at uni without him and only had options to choose, create, or pick a household.
Problem 5: Stuck sims, it seemed like more than a few sims were getting stuck. Luckily it only happened once with my own but I did notice a few npcs that I would have to reset when they stayed in the same place for more than a day. When it happened to my own he had planned to go home but I cancel that and sent him to a party and several hours later he was in the same spot, so I reset him. The worst part is the reset took away all of his gain in acedemics and it was the night before finals.
Problem 6: My button to take pics for memories seems to be gone.
Problem 7: My sims lived in the Dorm that was closer to the school buildings (i.e. not on the road like the other 2), in the kitchen there was a weird glitchy oval on the ground and no one could use the oven. The stovetop worked fine, but the oven part wasnt working. I even bought a new stove to see if that was the problem, but it didn't. That glitchy thing was near the stove, so I think that might have caused it. When I moved the stove to another area it worked fine. It was a rather funny problem, imagine co-ed after co-ed prepping waffles and nearly starving to death when they couldnt cook them.
Its late and that all I can think up but I may add more later.
