Unwanted Spawners - Can anyone help
Spawners are true to there name they multiply. If an empty lot has spawners placing a pre-prepared building on the lot does not remove them and if the pre-prepared building has spawners they are added to the number. If while placing the building before accepting you have to turn it, its spawners are left in place and new ones are put in there place upon turning, e.g. the empty lot has 1 spawner, The building has 1 spawner and on placing the building it is facing the wrong way and has to be turned. As the lot is square the building has to be turned twice. By the time you accept there are now 4 spawners. Also if I move the lot to another location it takes the 4 with it and leave 4 behind, which bulldozing does not remove. You like the lot and decide to copy to the library and take to a new game, you take all 4 spawners too. MY QUESTION IS. Is there any way of removing these spawners? I already have a limited solution:- that is preparing the new building or checking a pre-prepared building in (world builder) where I can remove the unwanted spawners saving the new copy to the library, before placing the building onto the game map. But that sometimes automatically removes some things I wish to keep and it does not remove those on the game map.
Hi, thank you for you help. The cheats have been of great help in most cases but not all. On one lot that I estimate as having over sixty spawners for fish (I only wanted four), (Mirabello Plaza [even worse it was one of my first uploads to the exchange. I have subsequently removed it from the list], I had no idea of how pernicious they can be) using the cheats revealed the spawners but they would not budge. I tried including the 'moveobjects' and 'Shift clicking' (both left and right mouse) but they remained stubborn. Knowing that I can easily rebuild I used the bulldozer and built a sentry box then bulldozed several times but they still remained. I even bulldozed the lot footprint (even though I knew I could not replace one of the dimensions required) but that had no effect on the spawrners. Which brought me back to one of my original statements. Again thank you for your help. As ever Billflowerpot.
