UPDATE 9-2-20 Has your Sims 3 game been affected by the recent pixilation issues?
UPDATE: 3/8/2021 Cororon has been affected now and is determined to figure this out, yaaay! Please go to her thread on Nvidia and support her efforts to have Nvidia take a look at what's going on. ...
Apart from the issues on the walls, I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what's wrong with the other pictures, so... I think my game has always looked this "bad" :joy: Here's pictures of the cheap fridge as an example:
This one was taken on September of last year: https://i.imgur.com/E8uvfO2.jpg The color banding it's maybe not as jarring but it's there.
This one, was taken around three years ago: https://i.imgur.com/ajVaANu.jpg No color banding at all, I guess it has something to do with the pattern/color used?.
And this one is not mine, it's from a friend, around 7 years old: http://i.imgur.com/GHtzy.png Color banding is present.
I think it's probably just the texture of the fridge, I remember this happens with skins too, if you're not careful when making them they turn ugly and it's worsened the darker the skin gets (the sims get weird looking patches on their faces :disappointed: ) Also, I believe my horses have always looked kinda plasticky... I think I even remember downloading a skin replacement or something for them that fixes that out? I'll have to check :lol: And next time I'm in the game I'll check the walls too :smile:
