Using a Vanilla Gift Card

I received a Vanilla Gift Card for Christmas. When I try to use it to purchase SIM points, it says that I have entered the information incorrectly. Is there something I should be entering instead of ...

My card says its active but I keep getting [ref. #10049] While trying to buy Deadspace 3 and 2 addons
