Weather Stone and Mascot Keep Respawning

Every time I reload my save a new weather stone spawns and the university mascot shows up. There are so many weather stones in my world and I'm tired of selling university kits. Is there a way to fix this????

  • @Derp54590  The weather stones can be deleted, perhaps just in Buy Mode through Edit town.  If that doesn't work, NRaas MasterController will.  Click on the ground near the stone and select NRaas > MC: [with the colon, not the bullseye] > Radius Purge, enter a low number, select the stone from the list, and delete it.  There's also a way to delete all of the stones in the world at once, through the NRaas City Hall menu, but I'm guessing you want just the one left over.

As for why the stone and the University welcome kit keep spawning, neither is a known issue, which makes me think there might be something wrong with your save.  As a test, please start a new save and let me know whether the same thing happens.

Please also let me know what mods, if any, you use, and whether you're willing to add a few to try to fix this.  In particular, I'd suggest running a MasterController Town Reset (click on City Hall and select NRaas > MC > Town Options > Reset Everything), but I don't know whether that will help.

Sorry I just saw this comment. I completely forgot about this issue and started a new save and the problem has persisted. I removed my mods and the problem is still occuring so I honestly don't know what to do. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the sims 3 once or twice since the first incident but I don't think that had any effects. I will try to use NRaas but I have little faith in that working. I will update if it does.

@Derp54590  Does the problem happen in a new save that's never been exposed to your other mods?  I'm not sure from your description whether you removed the mods before or after testing the new save.  That new save could have been permanently affected by your mods even if they were removed later.

Anyway, let me know about a save that's never been exposed to mods, and what effect (if any) adding NRaas mods has, and we can go from there.
