Sims game crashing on loading screen whenever travelling
I've had my sim travelling around to China, Egypt and France - it's been working perfectly until today. She was in France, about to leave and then as the loading screen for returning home came up, it crashed after maybe 30 seconds. I tried to do it multiple other times, using backup saves and trying from there. Each time, there was no music in the background like there normally is for loading screens - like i could hear normal sounds when playing. Then it would get like a little bit of progress and crash. At one point I was actually able to get my sim home, I think I uninstalled Traveller mod and changed a top from CC that i think was making it bug but then I tried it on another save file (the same thing) and it broke again? So, no idea what happened there. So I then went back to the game save where she was back home and tried moving her towns to see if that would work, obviously it didn't (:
(For reference these are the mods I have : NRAAS (Story progression, Master progression, Traveller, Error Trap, Overwatch, Career), and ones like more toddler interactions, more romance, more pregnancy, mixed feelings etc).
So this is what I have tried,
- Repairing game
- Trying a new save in a new town
- Deleting Travel.DB out of each save
- Deleting ALL mods and cc
- Keeping NRAAS mods but deleting everything else
- Deleting cache files
- Uninstalling and Reinstalling
- Clearing current game files
Even after completely starting fresh in a new game with no store content, cc or mods, it STILL won't let me travel so it isn't the mods or cc, and how is it a corrupted save file if it's brand new?
I've been trying to fix this for over five hours to no avail, I don't know if I'm just being stupid or not, completely possible. I'm not the best with these things so if anyone can help at all, it would be so so appreciated.

Rosabella-sims97 To be clear, you can't get through a travel transition in a new save anymore? Do you get an error message now? It sounds like you didn't initially, but I want to make sure.
Anyway, please try traveling your sims with your computer offline. You can sign into the EA App and put it in offline mode, then disable wifi and/or disconnect the ethernet cable before pressing Play.
I realize this isn't necessarily a good fix for general use, but it is an informative test.
If that doesn't help, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
