what are profession jobs?

Jobs are careers that send your sims into a building during working hours and you can't access them while they're at work (police officer, rock star, business, etc..). Professions are careers that while in working hours you'll  have to interact with your sim, make it do tasks related to that career (magician, singer, firefighter, ghost hunter, etc..)
