What can I do to get my Sims3 playing without glitching?

@DorotheaDaBest  Really need some basic information. Is your computer a pc or mac? What is the version of your game - lower left in the launcher? What operating system are you using and version of that operating system? Please describe the issue you are having the best of your ability - thank you
