It should appear in your myGames in the Origin client but yes, if your origin account and thesims3.com account are not connected, that might be a problem.
Contact Customer Support so they can take a look at your account to find out what's going on

Choose a category, a game and a platform for the option so show up.
If live chat is gray, change your country to US and make sure you're on US Business hours. It might also gray because they're very busy. Try later.
