where is the code for the expansion packs - Sims 3

I cannot find my registration code for my sims 3 expansion pack, I cannot install the game I paid for

  • @michaelab2618  If you originally bought the expansions though Origin, or if you ever registered them to your account, you don't need to find the codes.  Just login to that same account and download the game.  In Windows, you won't need to input the codes at all.  In macOS, Origin should provide you with the codes when you start the install process, and you can copy each code and paste it directly into the required fields.

If you bought disc copies of your packs and never registered them, you can still find the codes on the backs of the inserts that came inside the CD cases.  Or, if you previously installed Sims 3 on another computer, you can probably still find the codes there.  This may still work even if you uninstalled the game, as long as you didn't clean your computer's registry.  Here's how to find them:

    Windows:  https://sims3.crinrict.com/en/2013/09/how-to-find-your-serial-number.html

    macOS:  https://bluebellflora.com/finding-your-serial-key-using-terminal/

@rouge_moon16  It's normal that your worlds wouldn't show up as owned in Origin.  The purchase will be in Purchase History, but that's it.

I just checked my (somewhat old) emailed receipt for the same purchase, and my codes are listed in the description for each world and the chocolate fountain, right above the instructions for registering and downloading from the Sims 3 store.  For example, the Monte Vista code is underneath the black box outlined in red:

If your email doesn't have that information, you can request your codes from EA customer support.  It should be simple enough for a support rep to look up the information.  With the current situation, phone calls are currently unavailable, but live chat is open from 9 am to midnight GMT.
