Where to purchase simpoint bundles?

So I recently saw some customized items on the Exchange not available in the Store (and not from any expansion or stuff packs, either.) I found out that these items come from simpoint bundles, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to purchase one? I've purchased simpoints previously, but I don't see simpoint bundles anywhere. Where can I find these bundles so I may get these items that only seem to come with them? Thanks!

@roseredpinball  I believe that the items are no longer being offered, although I haven't tested this out for myself.  I don't see any sign of them in the store itself.  You could ask over on the Sims forums, where there are still active players buying points and store items.  But even if the items are still available, there's no guarantee that you'd get the one you want on the first purchase.  It would be more efficient, and a lot less expensive, to recolor or repattern an existing teddy bear, or to find someone who has done so already.  A simple recolor isn't custom content, it's just using the game's own tools to tweak your already-in-game items.

  • @roseredpinball  It's my understanding that currently, you can only buy simpoints directly from Origin.  The Sims 3 store used to sell them but does not handle cash transactions anymore.  (You can, however, get points by registering a copy of the TS3 base game or World Adventures to your account—the nine-year-old offer is still good.)  Origin sells points in bundles of varying sizes:

I'm not sure, though, which items come with bundles.  Could you provide a couple of links?  There are a number of items that come with particular worlds or venues and are no longer sold separately, and others have been discontinued altogether.  And I believe there are a few that are only available via the purchase of a store set.  But in all of those cases, the way to obtain items is to buy something with points, not buy the points themselves.
