why aren't my purchased items from store showing up on my sims 3 game?

Hello!

I have two problems:

⚽ I can NOT find my Electronic Arts folder so I keep going into "my pc" to find it there, but it is not the same as what the original folder was. How do I get it back?

🏈  I have purchased 2 items that I downloaded using the Downloads Dashboard. Then I go back to the Launcher and install it. It says it has been installed, but I do not find it in the sims 3 game. I go back to the Downloads Dashboard, and again it shows as if I haven't downloaded it, so I download it again. It still doesn't show. I have repeated many times and the same issue arises. Even after having cleaned my windows 10 desktop computer using cc cleaner, I still have the same problem.

Please help!

    @magsta123  I've moved your post to the Sims 3 PC tech section.

    The Sims 3 user data folder should be accessible by opening a File Explorer window and clicking This PC > C Drive > Users > your username > Documents > Electronic Arts.  If it's not there, search "This PC" for "deviceconfig" without quotes, and go to the file location.  Let me know the full file path if it's not in its usual spot.

    It's possible the two items aren't downloading correctly, or that they're not installing correctly once they're downloaded.  The Sims 3 Store site is more reliable than the in-game way of downloading, so try that instead.  Go here:

    sign in, click Store > My Account > Purchase History, and find the items, or alternately, search for them and download from their product pages.  See if they install better this time..  If not, please let me know what the two items are that you're missing, and whether you've been able to find the Sims 3 user data folder.
