Why can't I register my account with the Sims 3 Community?

I try to login with the Sims 3 Community but I only get as far as the terms and conditions. After I check the boxes and press continue it just refreshes that same screen. Any idea how to fix this?

None of you suggestions are working it lets me get to the sign up page then just keeps refreshing and I've done everything you say is there any other way to login?

      if you have an origin account you use the same email and password for the sims community. They are now linked together
