Why does Sims 3 sounds like it's killing my system?

When I start to play sims 3 my systems starts making sounds similar to this guys system: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a86Qq_p93n4. My computer doesn't struggle with any other games and so can't ...

Then VSync is turned off. Force it on in your graphics card drivers for this game. It cannot exceed your refresh rate (60 on almost all monitors these days) with it turned on.

Do you know how to do it on AMD cards ? If so, could you post instructions ?
