WINDOWS graphic issues. Shadows/colours in general low quality and pixelated.

Hello. My apologies if I do something wrong. This is my first time making a thread. I was previously a mac player, got the 64 bit update, but it doesn't work, so I decided to go back to my windows. I wondered why I wasn't playing on my windows all along, when I suddenly remembered why I went back to MAC. The shadows on my computer (both game but also video... so basically in general) are f*cked up.

I have included screenshots to show you what I mean. This all happened last summer (2020) when I started playing GTA 5. The graphics were f***** up so I did some things... The thing is idk what I did. Do you know where I should go to get this fixed? Another forum perhaps? Does someone on here know what to do?

*I would like to add that what you see in these pictures isn't what i see. Kinda... This is indeed what it looks like but I turned the brightness up. So instead of it being very dark, for me it is lighter but very pixelated.

  • @kaat31  That's interesting that windowed mode is so much brighter.  There's still something strange about your Nvidia options or maybe some other settings on your computer.  But if you don't want to deal with that, try using Windowed Borderless Gaming.  It's a free download that works well with Sims 3.  It should make the game window take up the whole screen but still technically run in windowed mode.
