Wishlist For Sims 3

I have bought several things off of my wish list & would like to remove them off of the wish list, but I can not. I am aware that you can not gift what they have it, but how do you remove them if you...

    usually if you get something from your wishlist it auto remove sit but if it's still there on the wishlist page then hit the X to clear it off although iirr you have to X them one by one not multi selecting
