They lost their code and never registered the game so if they cant locate the code EA can't help tthem. @Andromache2013 already posted how to help them locate the code in their computer if they can find it

if they have proof of purchase the reps can sometimes assit with it , photocopy or picture of the game disk to verify ownership which can be attached to the chat via directions from the CS rep

They said they bought it a while ago in a store and who keeps their receipts. I dont have mine. I bought my game back in 2009-2010. And if they bought the game used can't reregister it. I just posted the link of it on sale as a last resort if they can't get the code. $6 is a bargin if you have to replace it! Doesn't EA charge $10 to get a new code??

As far as I am aware, our CS charges for replacement disks under the warranty. Here's more information as to the specifics.
