Action Progress Bar does not move while in activity table (as a child)

Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? Suomi
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.68.156.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? None
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Set max Creativity and all other skills in chilhood and go to the activity table for the first time.
What happens when the bug occurs? The action bar in activity table does not move. Therefore I cannot complete the childhood creativity aspiration. The child completes the artwork but seems to do it forever until stopped. If I stop it manually when the artwork is not finished and continue doing it again the bar goes to the completion level but does not move even then.
What do you expect to see? The activity bar to go like normal so that I can finish the needed two artworks and the aspiration level 1 in creativity. Now there comes no completion and I cannot complete the aspiration
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I have tried repairing the game in the origin menu and making new save but it does not seem to work. I also bought new activity tables but it still does not work. The bug seems to be similar to this: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/FIXED-MHSP-Progress-Bar-doesn-t-Move-while-Watching-Movie/td-p/9174919. That bug has a patch. I believe I am using the latest version.

Here is a screenshot of whats happening. The artwork is complete and the sim has been drawing for three hours and wont stop. The action bar of the task is at its beginning.

@Smkymtbear Yay, granddaughter to the rescue! That's so awesome :D If you want to give it a try, you can use your Sim's phone to move your household. It's shown under the Travel options. Click the Move Household option and the game will go to a map screen where you can select a new home for your Sims. When you have finished your testing you can exit the game without saving.

@crinrictOkay. Moved into a new house. Same problem. That green circle just will not move. He's inspired and he draws. It just don't get counted all though he did, for the first time, get a "haven't created in a while" moodlet but it was gone and he was just inspired when I sat him down to draw. Boo. Where do we go now? This is driving me batty!! The mom and dad are almost complete 10's in everything. I really don't want to start over if it can be helped. Do you think that I accidentally glitched the kid when he flew to creativity 10 before I even really started on his aspirations? Just a theory. Can y'all think of anything else I can do or try that might fix this?
I really do thank y'all for taking the time to help me. I really like the game and it's nice to have forums where you can actually get help from nice people. 🙂

@Smkymtbear Does it help if the parent goes to the child to "Encourage" or the child uses the action "Call over to see".
Both of these boost the inspired moodlet and might be helpful.

I was going to ask if the child was any kind of an occult (alien, vampire. mermaid) but it looks like you only have base game.

@EuphorialQueen The specifics of how the child becomes 'inspired' is not indicated. . It only says to use the art table to draw 2 pictures while inspired.
I've not seen the options for Encourage or Call over to see. I've seen call over but not while he's at the table. Not saying they aren't there, I just haven't seen them.
He does it but the green circle will not move as in no progress. I can stop him mid draw and have him resume and the circle will move. I can do this a total of 3 times before he's finished and doesn't get credit for it as on the 3rd time the option to resume is gone and he is done.

I have a video of exactly what I'm describing but don't know how to post it.

And yep basic game. Been playing for a few weeks now just getting the hang of things and haven't had a problem with anything working...until now.

@crinrict I would love to but it's not actually saved in the game. I used my cell to video me as I was playing as I have no idea how to video from inside the game. Is there another way I can send it to you?

@crinrict Okay, I read and followed all the instructions once it dawned on me what you were asking for. I have no idea if the link I'm getting ready to send you is correct. It should be the ONLY file on my google drive. If it's not what you are needing, please let me know and I'll try again.

Well hmmmm.
I decided to delete "Ben" from the family and make a new child to take his place (gosh that sounds bad lol) to see what happens.
Exactly the same thing. This new "Ben" can't/won't finish drawing 2 pics either.
All his skills were at 0, he was in 'inspired' mood, sat him down, told him to draw. He did but the green circle would not move. He sat there until I finally told him to stop. Picture was finished but no credit for it.
I am now completely out of ideas. It seems this particular family is bugged :'(
Any other suggestions? Anyone?

Future reference: This interaction is on the Friendly conversation menu.
I always pause to be able to find it quicker.

These actions result in this moodlet.

Disclaimer: I have all the packs but these actions are available with base game.
Hopefully Crinrict will find something useful in your save to resolve your issue.
