Can't believe we had this problem since June!!!
Haven't played and updated. Tried the game with no mods and issue persists. Even when I send them without joining (since it wouldn't even prompt me to join them) only one gets school activities (study hard, make friends, etc) and the others only have "LEAVE" as an option
I don't have this problem if only one teen goes to school, but I tried once to send two teens together, and one of them had the tasks and the other didn't. But the one that had the tasks, they didn't complete even when he did them, and his sister was not able to go to chess club after school. I switched to the house, and then back again, and she was sitting playing chess at the school (sigh) but not actually at chess club. So I had to send them unaccompanied until she aged up and then I could just deal with her brother on his own.
The school is also full of urns because two teachers, one principal and one caretaker have died on site during a school day. These all happened during the education of one sim, so four deaths in the space of ten days or so? Sometimes the students don't pay attention to this but sometimes this happens and it's impossible to get them back to class to get a grade for the day because they're going through all the normal sim has died processes. Not meaning to be heartless but still...it would be good if dying on school premises could be a not possible thing for NPCs even if their age clock runs down.
I wondered if it was my mods. Apparently not.
If I follow two or more teens to active high school, I get an LE (last exception) when the lot loads and only the first teen has a “DM” task window at upper left. They both proceed through the school day relatively normally, but only the first teen gets popups for work day events.
When it’s time to come home, I can only travel with one teen. If I travel with the first, the second has the flashing red “late to school” notification when we arrive home and is off lot. If I travel with the second, the first has a work tone at school with an exclamation point (“YOU ARE MISSING EXCITING HIGH SCHOOL GAME PLAY WHOA!!!!!!!!!!!”) upon arrival home.
It’s not so bad until the three loading screens to get my teens home. That part is annoying.
Things seem fine if I send a single student.
