I didn't have this bug at first, when I updated to the infants patch a couple of weeks ago. (I don't have Growing Together.) I'd just been watching this thread to see whether/when this bug gets fixed. But now, suddenly I've experienced it for the first time. My sim was travelling, leaving her infant and two toddlers at daycare, and two kids were at school. (It's a 100 baby challenge.) The kids came home from school while she was still off the lot. Then she came home and the toddlers and infant returned from daycare. But, the infant was across the street from their home on the Midtown Meadows lot in Newcrest instead of inside the house. it wasn't the first time that my sim had travelled off the lot without an infant, but I think in other cases, the infant may have been returned from daycare while she was still away because a teenager had arrived home from school. In those cases, the infant was inside the house as usual. But I'm going to have to try out more travelling scenarios to see whether I'm really onto something or not.
Yeah, the infant spawns inside the house when my sim returns from travelling only if a teenager or older is already at home. If a child or if no one is home and the infant returns from daycare at the same time as my sim, the infant spawns far away from the house (pic).
