@druidtiefling Sounds a bit like this: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/OPEN-Houses-Lots-disappear/td-p/4620279/ although the exclamation points are new. Do you get those only on community lots or also on residential lots as well ?Did you ever get any error codes on this save ?
I do think it's the same or a similar issue as the one linked above but as the exclamation points are new, it's probably best to have separate thread for now.
I don't get error codes on saves but I do get the exclamation points on residential lots as well as community lots.

@druidtiefling Do you happen to have a before save ? Like before it started happening

Unfortunately no. This has been going on for so long.

Here is a picture of what is going on. If I were to visit or load into any lots the lots themselves are gone.

Hey! Were you or anyone ever able to fix this issue? I do not have a backup save that is current so im trying to avoid losing soooo much gameplay.

Unfortunately no. You can rebuild your save from scratch by saving your families and builds (that survived) into your gallery, and then inserting into a new save. That’s about it

This is so frustrating. I too downloaded many builds off the gallery, trying to be mindful of limiting the residential rentals, and I thought I'd completed the save, vis-a-vis the builds. I had one instance where a downloaded RR seemed to trigger the corruption, but through judicious not-saving and then not using that build, I thought I had dodged it. All the builds were free of the triangles. But after playing for a bit in live mode, the first triangle appeared. Someone said earlier that maybe it had something to do with the number of objects or maybe the cluttered-ness of the gallery build - maybe it's to do with overall complexity? My save had almost all the lots replaced, and hundreds of npc sims with elaborate family trees and jobs and preferences and relationships; very complex, in other words. And while I used mods and cc in the save's creation, the removal of my entire mods folder did nothing to fix the triangle.
In a game like this one, you expect to be limited by the processing power of your pc, maybe, or the parameters described by the game. Factors you can account for and control. You don't expect the game itself to fall spectacularly short of its intended purpose. I can't play like this, constantly having to check for corruption, worried that anything I do might destroy hours of gameplay. It is intolerable. I will not be playing again until this issue is addressed.
In case it's useful to the sims team, the offending save is here.
