[ARCHIVED] Sims obsessively wash hands

With this latest update on/around 4/10/21 my sims have begun autonomous hand washing again. I know this because, whenever there's a new update, I remove all mods and clear my cache, then start a brand new save to check that everything is working ok.  I'm not sure if there are any updated mods to correct the issue because it's getting annoying. 

I have seen it too lately, Sims wash their hands several times per day even when almost at max hygiene.

The bug was horrendous during March and April, but improved after those months, (at least for me) yet it is still a problem that is happening for me as of even August 4th, 2021. For starters, Sims no longer cancel the actions I tell them to do and rather wash their hands like they were doing for me when I made my first post, (April 2021) but if I let my sims do what they want, all they will do is wash their hands; although their hygiene is full and they haven’t finished using the bathroom either, so it is still frustrating even if it’s not as frequent as before. I even played with autonomy off at first just to have them not wash their hands! This is a very annoying bug and it should be addressed and preferably fixed because it has been going on for quite a few players and for some time now.

Key Notes

-This happens In every save I have, as well as brand new saves just to test, no matter the age/species of a sim

-Removing mods & repairing the game via origin do not get rid of the bug; Happens in complete vanilla game too

-Sims will wash their hands and then wash their hands, and wash their hands...Until I cancel the action and put them to do something else

-I first got this bug in April 2021 and never experienced it before-still having it in August 2021, but less frequent and repetitive as it was at first

-Sims cancelled actions I directed them to do in favor of washing their hands (At first, as of April) Now (as of July-August) they won’t cancel actions to wash their hands, but will wash their hands autonomously if not directed by me to do something else. Also, they will try to wash their hands after finishing an action I direct them to do (All they want to do is wash their hands!)

-Any Action that has to do with a sink, i.e. Washing the dishes, brushing teeth, getting a glass of water, etc will result in an autonomous hand washing action, intended to be performed after being done with the previous action-which indeed gets preformed...All the time

Maybe more people are having this problem now as gardening is decreasing hand hygiene and most people are currently gardening. Also animal contact might affect hand hygiene, but I'm not sure it does.

I think it might help if the team could decide to

1. change the wash hands commodity to have higher upper bond (it currently is at 100)

2. change the wash hands and the wash hands off the grid interactions to max hand hygiene instead of only increasing it by 37,5.
