I don't understand how they could have only fixed 4 things. Guess we have to put up with this for a while... hopefully not years without end as is typically the case with this $1000+ game.
I was so disappointed with them not fixing the issue with this recent update that I couldn't get myself to play last night. I ended up watching YouTube until bed ☹️
I've always loved Sims but major issues like these are a downer for me and can cause me to stop play for months or even a year or two.
@simmysimsin if you play on pc, littlemssam has a mod that fixes the superspeed(i know it works, i use it), and mods that unlock occult eyes and details for humans will also work in taking care of this bug for vampires and spellcasters until an official fix is released
@skyemuuIm on Xbox console so unfortunately I'm at the mercy of ea fixing bugs.
For the 2 year old vampire/werewolf super speed power bug that is still not fixed I did find one work around that is working for me by turning on cheats and turning my vampire and werewolf sims into a night stalker with the cheat "traits.equip_trait trait_Ghost_Curses_NightStalker_Stalker" because for some reason super speed works for me as it is supposed to when my vampires and werewolves are sad and the night stalker trait makes them eternally very sad. Unfortunately that means I'm forced to play as a night stalker ghost and the 10/22/24 update that added ghost types to cas made the night stalker ghosts glitchy. I had some night stalkers saved to my library before the update and now whenever I place them in live mode I have to re add the night stalker trait on them because they automatically load up as living sims.
It's also annoying that not all ghost types from all of the packs I own are selectable in cas. Such as death by killer rabbit and killer chicken, stink bomb and urban myth. I have never been able to find the ghost trait cheat code for urban myth so that one is very annoying. I don't know if the missing ghost types in cas is a glitch or not.
I also read that there is a bug that prevents people from selecting death by lightning for vampires but I haven't tested that myself. My vampires have died in live mode from the season death of lightning before and they have also died a lot and very easily from freezing in cold weather.
This update and pack seems to have made ghost customizations more restrictive and limited compared to when I just used cheats to add the ghost traits to living sims and pets.
@simmysimsin Its interesting that your vampires have died from freezing because theyre completely immune to temperature changes so that might be a bug on console?
