Ive been having the same problem!
Iv'e just downloaded Out Door Retreat and I can read ANYTHING when I take my sims camping!! All the objects, goals, camping items, even the little notification speech bubbles that appear in the top right corner all have thats **26blah4** jibberish.

Ive just deleted all my mods etc that didn't solve the issue either :womanfrustrated:
