Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Sims 4 Dine Out restaurant
What happens when the bug occurs? It takes many Sim hours for the chef to prepare the food. They weren't in the kitchen for ages and wouldn't come in the restaurant at first. When they eventually made the food, when the waiter takes it to the table, no food actually appears. This has only happened since I did the "delivery" update today. I hate how buggy Dine Out is, I hope it gets a full fix soon.
What do you expect to see? The chef to make food in a timely manner and the food to appear when the waiter delivers it and then all at the dinner table eat their meals (this is another bug where non active sims don't eat their meals).
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

Dine Out needs a full overhaul, it rarely works properly. Sims never stay seated, it takes ages to cook the food, not everyone eats the meal at the table, plates aren't always cleared and this bug is new because the plates just don't appear at all.
