    When placing larger lots onto smaller ones, basements will now stay put as long as they fit within the boundaries. If they’re a bit too big, they’ll just be trimmed down to fit snugly without disappearing. Happy building!

    Fixed in Patch 1.113.277/2.08

Just ran into this and see this old ticket still open. Moving a small house from a big lot to a smaller lot. Only the main floor and above DL'd. Lots of room to place it on the smaller lot. I've moved this house twice to bigger lots ages ago as my game grew without issues. This is my first time going down in size though. I've tried it on different lots now to see in Newcrest Glimmerbrook and willow creek on different size lots and basements don't load on any smaller lot. Trying to move house from 50x50 lot in Oasis spring.

I don't have another 50x50 lot available to try placing it to test if it works on same size.

Ps4, ROM GP, Paranormal SP and Spooky SP. Installed.

    Experiencing it as well. Previously placement on smaller lots wasn't an issue. (Cannot confirm it changed with the most recent patch.)
