[FIXED] [CL] [CD] Shoes don't fit stall vendor outfit

After much trial and error and a lot of research I have managed to fix this problem by myself. The error lies in that there's no specific footwear assigned to the vendor uniforms, the game is just randomizing anything. I'm not going to explain exactly what I did, because it would take up too much room.

The end result is I selected a unisex pair of white sneakers and assigned them to the male and female vendor stall uniforms. I've tested this over and over and my mod fixes the problem in Brindleton Bay and San Myshuno.

The only bug I still notice is vendors are all wearing the Brindleton Bay market vendor uniform when they spawn regardless of not being in San Myshuno. This was also happening on a vanilla game. I've yet to figure that out, but I have fixed the odd footwear problem for good.

Yeah, we had this issue before with some other uniform.

are you still seeing those after yesterday's patch ?

I haven't patched my game yet. I will probably do that over the weekend. As soon I patch I'll check it out and let you know.

I went ahead and patched my game and with a clean game folder, no mods or custom content, plus I repaired the game after patching (something I always do anyway)  I can confirm that all of the food vendors (male and female) are randomizing into all different kinds of footwear.

I created multiple new saved games and every time vendors showed up with crazy footwear choices. So it looks like I'll be continuing to use the fix I made for myself last month until this is addressed.

I have no idea why no one else has reported this unless it's because on old saves, it may not be a problem, since there are preexisting vendors and maybe it takes a new game for them to randomize into oddball shoe choices. I honestly don't know.

I do know that I went through every single pair of shoes in the game for adults last month and checked the tags on all them and there were none assigned to the vendor uniforms for San Myshuno or Brindleton Bay. This is the source of the problem. I don't know if already existing vendors would be affected or not, but I know making a mod that assigns shoes to the uniforms gets rid of the problem.

Do you still get high heels for males though ? 

I didn't have males in heels this time, but the choice is randomized from shoes of both genders across all packs and doesn't recognize whether they are Feminine or Masculine. For example, Eric Lewis spawned in his vendor uniform wearing women's flats from City Living during one of my tests not women's heels, but wrong all the same.

It's not just the choice of high heels on male vendors, but the fact that it's also sloppy programming that the uniforms don't have proper shoes set for them when I know they did before. Things like this are why people have to use mods. It's just very frustrating.

This is still mostly broken after the 1/11/18 patch.

It looks like an attempt was made to fix it, but it didn't work completely. What I mean is tags were added to the black swatch of the Base Game sneakers that look like Converse All Stars, which are the same shoes worn by the Nanny uniform, but for some reason the fix only took hold in Brindleton Bay with the stall vendors there.

I tested multiple times last night in San Myshuno, but each time the vendor spawned in a random assortment of shoes, sometimes correct gender, and other times not. I'm not sure what's going on, to be frank. With the correct tags in place, the vendors in San Myshuno should have spawned wearing the black sneakers but they didn't.

I put my fix back in that I made and all vendors spawned wearing those sneakers (the same seen in the picture I posted when I realized how to correct the problem, which is the white swatch of the Base Game sneakers that look like Converse), so I'm not sure why my fix works when I essentially did the same thing as Maxis: adding correct uniform tags.

I repaired the game after patching, like I always do, but I repaired it one more time to be sure, plus tried a new game folder. It didn't make any difference though. With my fix in the vendors all wear the same shoe, but with the fix out it's corrected in Brindleton Bay and broken in San Myshuno.

Why? I have no idea. I surmise it's something to do with the Situation tags on clothing, but I'm not totally sure.
