[FIXED] Clutter items not showing up in Build Buy

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.112.481.1030 DX11
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Life and Death, For Rent, Growing Together, High School Years, Discover University, Get Famous, Seasons, Cats and Dogs, City Living, Dream Home Decorator, Realm of Magic, Strangerville, Jungle Adventure, Parenthood, Vampires, Dine Out, Home Chef Hustle, Paranormal, Tiny Living, My First Pet, Laundry Day, Movie Hangout, Cool Kitchen, Luxury Party
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to Build Buy, sort all objects by 'Everyday Clutter Kit'
What happens when the bug occurs? Items are missing when I sort by 'Everyday Clutter Kit', as well as when sorting by clutter. It seems that some items don't have a category assigned to them.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see all the items included in the kit when I sort by 'Everyday Clutter Kit'
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Today (14/01), I decided to buy the Everyday Clutter Kit, as well as a few other kits. All turned up in game fine, apart from the Clutter Kit. When I go to sort by the kit, not all of the items appear (see attached image for the items that turn up when sorting by the kit only). Items such as the mugs, phone, headphones etc., are missing when you sort by the kit, as well as them not appearing in any other build buy tab, such as 'Clutter' or 'Decorations'. The only way to access these items is to search them up by name, meaning you need to know the exact name of the item in order to find it. These items only accessible by searching them also are weird in game; you can't use the eyedropper tool on them and they don't seem to have an item category attached to them, such as decoration.

I know this is a minor issue, however it can be frustrating to access these items. I have no idea if this was a result of today's patch or the items have been like this for a while. I have also removed my mods folder and repaired my game as well as reinstalled the kit again, however this issue hasn't gone away.

@PandoraTO Actually I saw it on the official Discord server, first, but didn't know how to link to it, so I grabbed the link off of X instead.

Hello Everyone, I am currently getting into creating Custom Content and recoloring of various creations.

Today when I learned many items are missing, I looked into the missing items listed on this blog and discovered in the program of  Sims 4 Studio that all of these items are missing their proper tags to show up in the "Decorative" Section of the game. All the items show is their color tags and their functions tags like allowing insane sims to talk to objects or can be struck by lightning.

EAMaxis, THIS IS NOT A MOD ISSUE! This program shows all tags to allow these items to show up properly in the game have been removed by your recent update. Instead of gaining more content, we are loosing much more than what's been added. A little backwards here don't you think? LOL.

  • I am having the same problem.

I removed all my mods, deleted the files in my sims folder I know to delete and repaired the game. However the issue is still there as for everyone else here.

Not only have I noticed some of the same objects missing as others (unless you search for them which is hard as I don't know the name of stuff),

such as "Soft tissue holder" and "Not so simple pen holder", I know there is other stuff missing aswell.

And I can clearly tell that the catalog is way shorter than it used to be which indicate that there's alot more stuff missing.

Another issue I've noticed that i saw someone else say here aswell, is that the clone tool does not work on these objects (I can't clone the objects).

I have multiple clutter items from various packs and kits missing. This is so ridiculous. I won't be buying any new packs if this is not getting a complete fix. We paid real money for this. If this game continues to be the running title - it must be better in the future!  I'm not happy with the game's current state and its piling issues.  🤨 Why should a gamer invest more money in this game if issues continue to grow like that? Even the simplest things get messed up. At this point, I'm highly disappointed by the Sims 4.

  • I have the Clutter kit and it has been working since I purchased it, until today. I can type in the name of the objects and find them, but they aren't shown in the decorations - clutter section. I have tried repairing my game. I removed all mods and still they are not available. What do I need to do to get that kit working again?

  • I'm having the same issue and the Everyday Clutter isn't the only DLC with untagged items. The "Make-up Essentials" from High School Years, the "Nail Care Basics" from Spa Day and that flower with the glass vase from the Pastel Pop kit are not tagged and does not show up when you filter the pack by its name. If the item is already placed in game, you cannot eye drop it to find it in the catalog, you have to search by the item name.
