[FIXED] Error Code 123:ff93df2

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
What is your current game version number? 1.108.349
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Bit unclear what triggers it.
What happens when the bug occurs? When trying to load into a community lot, you receive an error: The game failed to load: Error Code 123:ff93df2
What do you expect to see? No Error code loading the lot.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. After the lovestruck patch, possibly installing the pack.

 It is possible that you may receive a different number after the 123, especially if you are on console.

The following LastException is associated with this error

Exception raised while processing zone spin up sequence: 'float' object has no attribute '_delta' (AttributeError: 'float' object has no attribute '_delta')

Fixing the issue

It currently seems that the error is going away on it's own if you do a double loading.

Follow these steps

  1. Load the game with Load and not Resume
  2. Load the family that has the issue
  3. If you receive an error, simply try to load the family again.

Make also sure all your mods are current.

To fix the orange exclamation mark, load the lot in build mode (from the map) and go back

  • Full error number or screenshot
  • Platform you're playing on
  • LastException file (either copy/paste the content or upload as a rar-file
  • Send me your save game (upload somewhere, DM me the link) if above workaround does not work for you.
  • Please provide info and not just me too. It's very important that this doesn't become another collection of random 123 errors so EA can fix them all.

    • Addressed an additional issue where the game would fail to load and display Error Code 123 when traveling between lots.

    Fixed in Patch 1.109.185/1.98
    Please create a new thread if you're still experiencing this issues

    It's a bit laughable they didn't fix this with the latest patch since the solution is so easy.

    def should_load_after_time_jump(cls, seed):
    elapsed_time = services.current_zone().time_elapsed_since_last_save().in_minutes()
    if elapsed_time > seed.duration_override:
        return False
    seed.duration_override -= elapsed_time
    return True

    All they have to do is remove the in_minutes() call and the bug is fixed.

    @pessyl92 LMS already has a mod that fixes this issue. See first post for link.

    Not sure if Veritas3377 needs to update theirs as it fixed both issues.

    @Veritas3377 Couldn't agree more. Even the exception alone is such a clear indicator that there is "just" a dumb programming error going on. Same for the aging up issue for teens (which also seems to be collateral damage caused by the same mistake). I'm really surprised there's no official fix, after the modding community already put in so much effort for the analysis.

    @crinrict  yes the double load works for me. If I go back to the household it shows that she is on the generic lot and if I click play from her profile on the maps screen the lot does load with her there. Thank you again for your help!

    I dont think that LMS mod fix that - she only fix situation jobs. But i will test both

    I work as a QA Engineer and I have never seen such a mess as you generate. Hire QA, and don't make players testers.

    @pessyl92 It does. I tested it with @epdaly11 save.

    (retested after this patch)

    I do see that she removed it. I let her know that it's still needed.
