[FIXED] Game Failed to Load - Error Code 102/122:33015dcc
Product: The Sims 4 Platform:Mac Which language are you playing the game in? English How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%) What is your current game version number? Sims 4 What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except love struck (I own it but EA is showing me as not having it so it isn’t installed) and Vampires. Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try loading a household and see what happens? What happens when the bug occurs? I try to load a household and it sends me to the world map. What do you expect to see? The household I am trying to play. Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them. Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes Please describe the patch or change you made. The most recent patch on July 25th.
I go to load a household and it takes me to the loading screen and then it just goes to the world map. I have done this with and without mods/cc so I’m pretty sure it is game related and not mod related.
When I do it without mods/cc I get an error code (see attached image).
the code reads:
”The game failed to load. Error Code: 102:33015dcc:99c26b61: it is recommended that you relaunch the game”.
Ive also repaired the game twice on the EA app to no avail.
I'm having this problem too. I've played for several hours since the last update, and just suddenly had this issue appear as I was playing. I don't have any mods.
I'd played two households for 2 days each, and went to load up a third household and got this error. Right before loading the third household, I merged the second household into a different household. When I tried to load the third household, it went through the loading screens like usual and then gave me the error message and put me back out at the worlds menu. I restarted the game like the message suggested but couldn't load it either on the sims at home or one sim that was showing as being in a different location.
I tried to load a fourth household and that wouldn't work either.
I've read through the other posts in this thread and noticed there was mention of active careers - neither of the first two households I played had active careers. The third household has a sim in the actor career, and the fourth household I tried doesn't have any active careers either.

I got the error code 102:33015dcc:99c26b61 today after splitting a household in Manage households. I moved a Sim and a dog to another household containing 1 Sim already, then marked the newly formed household unplayed and tried to load to a completely different family and it gave me the error. I had my mods in.
Then I deleted my mods folder, avatarcache.package & localthumbcache.package and tried the same steps, and it gave me the same error again, LE is from this round.
Sims in the original household were a vet and a food critic, the Sim I moved the other sim & dog with was a writer and the Sim in the family I tried to load afterwards was in Civil Designer career.

I can split the same household via Manage households if I create a new household for my Sim and the dog, not merging with any existing household. Then I can move two of them to an empty lot, load in and out without problems.
Edit: I tested a bit more, trying to move Sims out and merge households different ways.
1. Try to move out with computer
I tried computer and "leave household and move" (or something like that, I don't play in English). It takes me to the screen where I can choose who I want to move out, but when I click ok, nothing happens. After this both the ok mark and X are grayed out, I can still click and transfer Sims from household to another but can't get it through and can't cancel. I have to force quit the game afterwards. There is no Last Exception created, but when I tried with my mods, MCCC notifies and creates MCCC Last Exception when I click "ok" for the first time. Tried 3 different households.
2. Ask to move in
Switched family, visited this original family with other sim and tried to ask to move in. No luck, same happens as above. But I tried this with an other family and asking to move a few random friends in worked and I also could load out and then load in to another family without problems.
3. Evict family via manage households/move out whole family with computer and moving in with other household
Tried to move out a Sim living alone with computer and then moving in with somebody. When loading to the new merged household, I got the same error code 102:33015dcc:99c26b61 + Last Exception. Also tried evicting the original family, moving back to their home lot was fine, but then moving in with other household and loading their lot did give me the error code + this Last Exception:

So it seems that at least I have generally problems with trying to move out Sims + merging families...
@brecm28 I also had this problem and the only thing that fixed it for me was going to load game and clicking recover save. I loaded the next most recent one and it worked. I lost a little bit of my save, since my most recent save was corrupt, but at least I didn't lose everything.
See I had gone back a month in my saves because I was having this issue and I went back an entire month and then THAT save also started having this error. And so now I don't want to continue playing Sims at all because it seems that nothing I do will prevent this issue from coming. The emotional toll it took on me to reload a month back in my 1000 hour multigenerational game was huge only for it STILL to be giving me errors? I just want to rest easy knowing that my game which has NO mods, NO cc will work properly for me and I can do things like merge families without jeopardizing my progress.
I have sent EA_Solaire a copy of my save file. I see that some people posting in this thread have been posting 'Last Exceptions' - I don't know what they are or how to get them, but if it would be helpful I can try!
@pineappleynessLast exceptions are easy to find, just look up your Sims 4 folder in your file explorer and scroll down to find the txt file "last exception" and you can copy and paste what's in there. It should be dated the day of your last error message and/or crash.

For context, I tried thrice to split from the household normally with the phone, and thrice got the glitch where the check mark button and exit button of that split/merge window were grayed out and was forced to force quit the game. Next, I successfully split and merged households from Manage Worlds, but when I went to load the newly merged household, I got the error message.
I tested some things after finding this thread. I went back in, recovered the last save before I got the error, and tried everything the same way again from Manage Worlds. The same error happened. Then, from the same recovered save, I evicted the sim I was routinely merging households with and moved the splitting sim into their house normally. When I did that, taking out the single sim I was moving in with, I was able to load the household normally and did not get the error message. The sim I was moving in with has the Acting career (an active career), which I understand is a common problem for some people getting this error but not a universal one. I sifted through my last exception and found what has been pointed out before as the likely issue, "add_knows_career" with the addition: (AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'add_knows_career'). I have no idea what that means, but hopefully people with more coding knowledge can help.
I'll be sending my saves and last exception to them too so we can hopefully help this get solved.

I relaunched the game and tried to merge them through Manage Worlds, and when I try to load the new household it brings me to the world map instead with this message (screenshot attached) Error: 102:33015dcc:99c26b61.
I removed all my mods and this issue still happens.

Error Code 102:33015dcc. It is recommended you relaunch the game." (screenshot attached).
I removed all my mods and disabled cc and this issue still happens.
