[FIXED] [HR] Missing Face Presets (No Werewolves or GtW)

What is your current game version number? 1.99.264.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? HR, Grow Tog, Pastel Pop, Desert Luxe, HSY, Fashion Street Kit, Cottage Living, Paranormal, Snowy, Journey, Nifty Knit, Eco Lifestyle, Tiny Living, DU, Realm of Magic, Island, Stranger Ville, Get Famous, Seasons, First Pet, Jungle, CandD, Parenthood, Vampires, City Living, Dine Out, Get Tog, Spooky, Lux Party, Get to Work, Holiday, GtW
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Open face category in CAS, there are no presets.
What happens when the bug occurs? Face category is blank in CAS, no presets. Can't randomize the face either.
What do you expect to see? Face presets and ability to randomize
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Downloaded Horse Ranch and the pre-orders.

Missing Face Presets in CAS

Premade face shapes for Sims were missing for games that had Horse Ranch and not Werewolves. They're back now!

Fixed in Patch 1.99

Hi @WarlordGoretooth

~~Try the following~~

~~Close the game~~

Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old

~~Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry~~

~~Start a new save game~~

~~Check if you still have the error~~

~~Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.~~

Issue identified. It's a bug.

Hello, I have tried your suggestion along with the following:
Repaired the game x2
Uninstalled the game
Turned off One Drive Sync
Restarted my computer
Any further help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

I don't think so, there's no lastException.txt file in my sims folder.

@WarlordGoretooth Another try. Can you create a new windows user and test there. Just start a new game there. It will be like you're playing for the first time.

What happens when the bug occurs? All the time
What do you expect to see? The faces to return

Hi, logged into my second user and it didn't work. Started up a fresh game, showed me all my packs and gave me the newbie tips and everything. Still no face presets. I'm starting to think it may be an issue with the expansion!

@WarlordGoretooth Not sure what's going on. It's fine in my game. Maybe it's a pack not being there issue.

EDIT: I disabled Werewolves as this was the pack you both seem to be missing and look at this:

Looks like this seems to be an issue if you don't have werewolves

I bought Werewolves and it solved the issue! Hope EA sorts this out soon. Thanks again!

@WarlordGoretooth That wasn't what I was suggesting. Hope you didn't mean you had to buy it cause of my statement. EA will def need to fix this.
