[FIXED] Oakenstead rocket placement bug
Hi, in TS4 there's something bug-like irritating me and interfering with the completion of a house project I've been working on, and I hope this is the correct section where to ask.
I know my English is really bad not being a native speaker and all that, so please have mercy on me if everything is not as proper as the How to post states it should.
On the Oakenstead lot in Willow Creek, I find it impossible to place big, two-storey objects (i.e. the observatory or the rocket) in some positions of the grid due to the"must be placed on terrain or on the floor" error, despite the presence of no apparent obstacle around or the fact the lot has just been bulldozed. Viewing the lot as a Cartesian plane (where x runs parallel to the front, y to the side), this happens on particular x positions of the grid.
To carry the metaphor further, I've bulldozed the original lot on a new save and set it up as an actual Cartesian plane (pic at the end of the post). In it, the colored areas correspond to the vertical sections of unplaceability (not represented in their entire length on y, which is really all-lot-long), while the fenced areas nearby contain the specific object used and its orientation. Significant squares have been numbered to avoid ulterior confusion.
Please, help
The original issue of the rocket not being placeable should be solved.
For other issues such as basement, see the compiled list for other threads.
