Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? After becoming a career level 10 actor, (Silver Screen Icon) — use the button to schedule an audition. I am using the “Well Suited Talent Agency.” After scheduling the audition, specifically for top paying movie roles, notice that the task bar that indicates how you need to prepare for the role, never appears. There is also no updated indication that there is a scheduled gig. Sometimes these appear a few hours before the role. Sometimes they never appear at all.
What happens when the bug occurs? There is no information about the upcoming gig, there’s missing UI. There’s also no information about the time or task list for the gig. The UI remains the same as it was before scheduling a gig — however there is a gig scheduled.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see the gig UI refreshed with the task list needed to complete the role. I also expect to see the gig date and time listed. It is not.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I believe this issue appeared after 2.01 update. I was successfully playing the role until then.
This may be correlated to the ongoing UI issues with reapers rewards, as there are UI update issues across the tasks for the game, including “party” tasks and aspiration tasks.
The aspiration tasks do eventually refresh. The actor gig does not always refresh. The party and date tasks (in the upper left hand corner) do not always reflect the current count of romantic, social, or party goals.
Sometimes closing the entire game out, and restarting the console forces the UI to update. But it is unreasonable to have players do this every time the UI malfunctions.
