Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? The bug appears when trying to load a family file. The game redirects me back to the Choose a World screen.
What happens when the bug occurs? When I load the family file, I am redirected to the Choose a World screen, where the error message pop up window awaits.
What do you expect to see? No pop up window and the game plays as normal.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. The most recent base game update with infants.
Hello,
I have no mods or CC, never used either before, but I’m getting a message every time I try to open my Sims 4 family file. I haven’t had any issues until the most recent update, when my Sim also first joined the Detective Career.
When I select a family file after selecting the world, Copperdale, the game returns me to the main screen where this message waits:
The game failed to load.
Error Code 102 1df25949 a7d3f204. It is recommended that you relaunch the game
I have relaunched several times, restarted my iMac several times, and even waited a few days before trying again.
Again, I have no Mods or CC, and never have. I have attached the the most recent LastException file from today’s game launch attempt.
