I appologize. I could not find a thread for this topic to post my question regarding this. Are we sure this is a bug? I have seen queued interactions drop out of my sims' queues but there was a logical reason for the dropped queued interaction. In the cases I saw this happen the interactions were tied to the sim's mood. Before the sim had an opportunity to perform the interaction his mood changed and could no longer perform it. For example, my sim was energized and I queued up the energized hip bump interaction. But before he got to it, his mood switch to tense so the hip bump was dropped from the queue. If this was not this individual's problem I apologize for making the post but I thought it might be worth inquiring.

When this happens in my game I'm usually able to trace it back to three things. 1) My mood changes. For example: My Grandpappy takes a brisk shower to get energized, I suggest he goes to perform an energized box, in an effort to comply he walks into his secret agent room and his mood changes to confident because of all his confident decor and the energized box is either removed from queue or he stops boxing mid-swing. I can still queue up a normal box.2) The other sim I'm interacting with has a schedule cut off I can only assume it's a job or curfew. For example: I will commonly queue up several social actions with a sim walking down the street. They will typically stop and wait for my sim to get to them. Occasionally though my target sim has to be somewhere urgently and walks away so the remaining queued interactions are cancelled. This seems to be completely based on the other sims schedule. For example: Summer Holiday is typically walking around the neighborhood in the morning and early afternoon but once 4:00pm hits she leaves and not only are the remain interactions in queue cancelled but I can no longer queue up any other interactions with her.3) I switch to another sim in my household and the original sim has some urgent needs to take care of. For example: Grandpappy in his old age cannot hold his fluids like he used to be able to so if I queue up a lot of actions with him and then switch to my other sim he will frequently be found using the restroom instead of doing the things I asked him to. This is all a matter of autonomy.None of those instances are bugs so if this does occur due to a bug I have been very lucky thus far. The only time I've had an interaction queue and bug out was related to painting. My sim was feeling very flirty and I tried to capitalize on it by painting a flirty painting. However I had to select the action four or five times before it finally accepted it. The first time I walked over to the easel and got charged the 100 simoleons but no canvas ever appeared. I tried four more times getting charged each time. The fifth and final time the canvas appeared as normal and away I went. I believe between the fourth and fifth times my sim got bored and started walking off so it may have been a routing issue. That has only ever occured once. I'm chalking it up to a random and rare routing issue at this point.

This does seem logical in terms of design for the interactions that are unique to certain moods, with your example of hip bump from Energized state. Though there are still a many dropping off even if they are not modified by moods (i.e. Clean up, Take a Shower, Take a Bath etc.)

Since I'm a queuer in my play style, I come across this a lot. I tend to send my sim to do something, then queue up several more actions and then speed up the time, especially with long tasks like 'tend garden'.Anyway. When the mood of my sim changes, the entire queue drops. Not just actions that might have been tied to the mood, but every action. But then my current sim is a hothead and maybe it's just him becoming angry that makes him not want to do any task and it is by design. 😉 Still very annoying in my opinion, though.as for cancelling actions tied to a mood - that makes sense, but it should not drop the whole queue and only drop the emotion-tied-actions, in my opinion.

I am getting this very frequently, approx every few interactions. I have noticed a few things: 1) sim often loose their queue items when near stairs/need to go upstairs or down to complete said actions2) sims are sometimes teleported outside the home and reset (where they usually return from work) 3) I can confirm that when emotions change it can trigger it, but not always. 4) Also can confirm it happened often when switching between sims in a household.

Now it's great that you did. I'm going to link this thread and people can discuss how they saw it it. At this point, everything is unclearn and I'm just adding stuff. So please go ahead and discuss the problem with each other.

I think we have to distinguish two issues here

Sims canceling interactions, where they do a certain interaction and then just stop

Interactions that are queued and are simply removed from the queue. This one is not necessarily a bug and is what we should discuss in here. Use the other thread for Interactions canceled.

I get this often with almost every task, it does not happen often enough to be annoying but it does happen when cleaning dishes, reading, using the computer, I was unsure if this was a bug as well as it could just be tempermental sims.

It has also happened to me multiple times,but not just when it is tied to a mood.
It happens most for me during conversations with others. For example, I will set up three for four things for my sim to say during a conversation with someone and it will cancel all of them out.

I've noticed this sometimes happens when the game is paused and you cancel the sleeping action - all actions you set up for them to do when they get up just dissapear when you unpause.

Also, if you have 6 of the same interaction queued up, they only do the interaction three times - like two bubbles drop at once as the current action.

After i did the update today, the maid did not show up and my Sims were unable to cook. Every time i clicked on the Fridge to make some thing it would take my money but disappear from the queue.
