[LAUNDRY LIST] [HSY] Facial and Body hair don't grow according to settings

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.90.375.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Everything expect journey to batuu
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? By starting a new game, choosing your body hair length, enabling hair growth and then playing through several weeks.
What happens when the bug occurs? Body hair is not growing despite hair growth enables in CAS
What do you expect to see? I expect to see hair growing on my sim after a few days ans being able to shave the hair.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. After the High school patch, nothing changed after the emergency patch the following week.

I purchased the sims 4 High School Years pack and noticed that none of my sims are growing any facial hair. I have tried starting my sim off clean shaven while having the "grow facial hair" box check-marked, and even after waiting over a week in sims time he has not grown any facial hair. Alternatively, I have also tried starting my sim off with a full beard, shaving it, and waiting to see if it grows back. Even after waiting over a week, still nothing. I have no mods or cc installed, so that definitely isn't the problem. Is there a way to fix this? I'm not sure if it is a bug or if I am maybe doing something incorrectly.

    I have repaired the game, and the feature still isn't working.

    @pjmonster16 Could you test a new save for testing purposes (new Sim) to see if it's also nor working there (to check if it's isolated to your save/sim or a general issue)

    Coming in to say that I've also had this issue. I do use mods/CC but I removed them all then created multiple different save files for testing purposes and still facial hair wouldn't grow even after playing a few weeks in the sims world, I've repaired the game multiple times, deleted localthumbcache, and exhausted every other solution I could think of. Also I've gone into CAS multiple times to ensure that the option is enabled. It still doesn't work for me.

    @silentavenger22 Have you tried a completely new folder ? Like renaming the current one and let the game create a new one than test a new game (for testing purposes) ?

    @crinrict I can sure try that. I did put my mods back in in the end because I spent hours slowly adding them back in and testing each time and nothing changed regarding facial hair growth. Would it be wise to remove them again?

    @silentavenger22 Does the body hair work ? I don't know how long you have to play but I know it didn't the first week for me. It took a moment

    @crinrict Body hair does work. The longest game I played I went until he almost aged up to young adult and still saw no facial hair, the other games I tested I played for about two weeks.
