[NEEDS SAVES] [DU] Sim didn't receive presentation board/ Gone Missing

My sims are living in student housing in foxbury. Their presentation boards vanished after i put them in their inventory a little while later. Maybe after they went to class or commons. The next sim day i wanted them to present their board and that's when i noticed it was gone. All 3 of my 4 sims. I hate for my sims to get horrible grades. I have cc eyelashes and tank tops only installed. I have all packs and latest patch installed.

Just like the title says. Two of my sims lost their presentation boards when I moved them from a dorm to a residential lot at Foxbury. I sent one to visit the dorm hoping to find them but they are gone! Is there any way I can get them new boards?

You can buy them. From memory it's the same place you can buy the bikes from on campus.

so it's still possible that the presentation board is vanishing.

to be honest, i don't know where it was when i last played this savefile.  but i should find it in the inventory(s. i checked also all other sims in the household) or the household inventory or somewhere on the lot.

i'm  trying to solve the problem with the "Get Back Your Presentation Board by RevyRei at Mod The Sims" (not sure if it'll work out)
but i just want to tell, that it's obviously not solved (or broken again with the last patches, who knows)

This still isn't fixed apparently.

I left it in the commons accidentally (I was working on it during the 3 hour cool down from getting shocked by the robotics skill)   -- got a message that it was moved into my household or personal inventory. The latter it isn't there and the former you can't get to while at university in dorm housing far as I can tell.

I tried the mod but it doesn't seem to work anymore. I will send the save file but in the meantime I guess my sim gets to study the same book for hours and hours to keep that straight A.

I see that this is was a known bug but it's 2021 now so I'm surprised it's still a thing. I was working on my board at UBrite Commons when my sim all of the sudden left for work which I hadn't been expecting. The game said it returned all of my options to my inventory but I can't find it in my sim's personal inventory. My guess is it must mean the house inventory but obviously I can't get to that because it's university housing. I don't know what to do about this
