[NEEDS SAVES] [LD] Reaper: No Dead/Witness/Has Plead Sim on the Lot

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
What is your current game version number? 1.110.294.1020 DX11
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All DLC
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Unsure, it happened randomly
What happens when the bug occurs? While following my Sim on the job in the Reaper career track, the first goal is to "Take Witness Statement" but no living Sims on the lot have the "Witness" tag.
What do you expect to see? A living sim on the lot with the "Witness" tag so I can take the Witness Statement.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

While following my Sim on the job in the Reaper career track, the first goal is to "Take Witness Statement" but no living Sims on the lot have the "Witness" tag. In the screenshot, the only Sim available to talk to is Zelmira Gomes, who is not a "Witness". There are no other Sims upstairs or outside.

    I am just now having the same issue, I get to the lot and there is no body to reap, nothing happens when I 'locate sim' either. I did notice that when I hovered the cursor over one person it said Dead and then they changed in to reaper uniform and disappeared, so that may have caused an issue. I don't use mods at all btw.

    @genesisxo26 Does this happen every time ?

    Going to merge this with the thread of missing witnesses/plea sims. Adjusted the title to include dead ones.

    Hi, so I kind of found a solution for my case. I was also unable to locate the deceased, so I tried switching to a sim in my household at home and then switched back to the reaper sim (we may wait for few seconds for the game to load properly before switching back) and the problem was fixed, the body appeared and I finished my shift without a problem.     The firts time a got the task to listen to someones plead I found the person, but wasn't able to find the option. The second time the person who wants to plead wasn't there at all, only two witnesses and random people crossing the lot. The third time finally worked.

    @Edw_HareHare I cannot try out this option because my Sim lives only with three cats. Another option would be exiting the game and come back but during a mission it is not possible, only without saving. Maybe I'll try out to save before I go on the trip and if something or someone is missing I could try out to exit the game and come back.

    I tried to do this during an event that multiple sims needed to be reaped, but only 3/4 of the deceased sims were there. I had the sims reaped, and left & came back for the last one, but now all the previously reaped sims are alive and I can't interact with them 🤭 I think if you're doing this for multiple sims on an assignment, this isn't an option
