Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Sim dies in unplayed house and comes back to life over and over, generic inventory pop up notice loops along with it. Inventory choice is made but the pop up returns + sim does not die.
What happens when the bug occurs? Forced to load unplayed house to “manage” death as “dead” sims are still alive in death loop. At times multiple urns created, some blank. Sim returns to life, loops death, Grim at times never leaves. Forced to reload and hope for different outcome. The generic “inventory” pop up death notice returns as the sim dies - again. At times the new “ghost” pop up asks if the sim wants to become a player ghost or free roaming ghost. Death does resolve faster after this choice is given and Grim finishes job.
What do you expect to see? I expect sims to die in unplayed houses - without my assistance - with the generic inventory pop up death notice ONCE only. I expect the player ghost or roaming ghost pop up question ONCE only. I expect to later visit that house to find ONE urn with the sim name on it, not a half dozen blank ones. If the “player ghost” pop up question is universal, I expect it after each death. Most importantly, I expect sims to die without my “live” attendance.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
