@SimmerStar4 I just found a YT video of a BB review 7 years ago when CL released. Here is what the icon for the rug looked like then. (Red line is from YT, I can't pause the video to take the pics without the red bar showing).

Isn't it supposed to be like that since there are patterned white/transparent swatches that wouldn't be visible against the regular background?

Can confirm that this is still an issue as of patch 1.9.358.1030 and it applies to all swatches of the item.

@rioohmy Then it should only be on the two swatches like that,

@rioohmy There are ways to create contrast on items like that that don't require such an obvious and distracting solution and wouldnt take away from the overall cohesion in build mode. I personally would go with a translucent outline on the swatch previews for the few items removing the black background would affect.

I always thought this was intentional, it's been a thing for years, hasn't it? I just assumed it was to do with all of the different swatch designs on the rug. Has it ever not had a black background?
