I got the notification that I've started the repeal process, but don't have the option to repeal and it says I have no current repeals open. @crinrict Also getting this bug, trying to repeal Sharing Is Caring to stop people stealing equipment from my Vet Clinic. Got it repealed in another neighborhood the other day but now every time I try it the Influence Points are consumed and I get the notification but nothing shows up as being in the repeal process.I used cheats to get the household/business money, the household is in another area map from the business and I toggled the "NPCs can vote on NAP" option while trying to get a repeal through. I tried with different sims in the same household and after rebooting the game but it still consumes 10 influence points every time.

I know for sure you can't repeal/vote outside of your own neighborhood, unfortunately. I tried that, as well. @1BlessedNonniI was afraid that might be the case, but unfortunately it still consumes the Influence Points no matter what neighborhood I'm in, so the game seems to think it's possible regardless. Not that I'm currently using them for anything since the NPCs voted in max NAPs and I cant repeal any of them, but even in their home neighborhood my sims are powerless to stop this. For full clarity, my sims, Hiccup and Astrid, live in Conifer Station in Evergreen Harbor. I had them purchase the Brindleton Pawspital in Brindleton Bay, where I first encountered the problem of sims stealing Vet equipment because it was part of a NAP that was in place, Sharing is Caring. (I also ended up firing an employee because they randomly started beating up my sims under another NAP for encouraged brawling, which I only mention as it made attempting signatures difficult when the sim I was talking to start a fight and cut off most of the Friendly options.) After consulting this thread, I had them open a new Clinic in Grims Quarry, got a little distracted building it, but opened it with the intention of having the employee I had hired sign the petition to repeal Sharing is Caring. So by this time, I'm in the same neighborhood, but I encounter the same problem, 10 influence points deducted, no repeal process started, and in the time I've been open, the very first patient I had lifted a bench from my waiting room, which I can't replace because I built the location before buying it and my sim doesn't meet the requirements to buy that bench. I close the location to avoid further losses, and attempt several more times to get signatures/start the repeal process just by lingering outside the closed store, "starting" the repeal process with my location's mailbox (again, no process actually starts, just 10 points deducted each time I try) and attempting to accost passerby for signatures on the assumption that it is merely the NAP interface that is glitching and that the process has actually started. Several attempts are made, hampered by the occasional brawl, but no option to ask for signature is ever found despite eventually resorting to pausing right after introducing myself to a new sim and scrolling through all friendly options. So I went back to play at Conifer Station, which is the only place where I had gotten the NAP repealed before the update because I misunderstood that the repeal didn't affect the whole neighborhood when I first played.Again, none of this is a problem anymore, my repeals started working again and I managed to get Sharing Is Caring banned at the location in Grims Quarry with minimal losses to equipment, then had another Sim who lived in Brindleton repeal it there before opening again. I've no idea what created the problem in the first place or what solved it. However I feel like I was fairly thorough in trying the process in and out of neighborhoods, short of bulldozing my neighbor's house in Conifer Station to open a third clinic and voting the NAP back in to try and repeal it again.Hope that helps clear things up. I could provide a save but considering I'm not getting the error in any neighborhood anymore I'm not sure how much help that would be at this point.

Could you try repairing the game for the eating and if it doesn't work make a second thread for this ?

As for the reappeal, I haven't had a chance to try this out myself so don't know how it works but it says on that message it can take a while ? Isn't just the process still going on ? Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you're saying.

Hey, Crin. If you look at the bottom of the screenshot it shows that I have no repeals in progress, even though I tried 2 different ones and I got the notification saying I could start collecting signatures. Neither of them allowed me the option to ask for signatures. I had repealed before the newest update, without issue. I just needed to get the 5 signatures, which came easily, and it showed me how many signatures I'd gotten/needed. Now, it's saying that I've started the repeal process, but I don't have the option to get signatures and it says I have no repeals going in my N.A.P. menu. Voting is currently closed now, so I can't petition for repeal. I will try again once it opens back up.
As far as the eating issue, I see a lot of others are having issues with getting their sims to eat, too. I will try repairing and open another thread if that doesn't work.

@1BlessedNonni There have been others reporting it, just wanted to make sure you're not saying they are connected. In the bug forum, there should be one thread per issue.

I know there's another thread around somewhere but I can't remember if that was in bugs, tech or even in the German forum so for now, could you make a separate thread for the eating and make this about the N.A.P. only ?

@1BlessedNonni I tested your save and I can't duplicate either issue. I got the option to collect signatures and the Sims eats up

Do you have the issue for a specific NAP ?
