[OPEN] [FR] Pet/Charity Drive excessively long

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.103.250.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? all but journey to batuu and a few kits
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure but I have a rental and no pets is not a rule for everyone.
What happens when the bug occurs? The pet drive occurs too often and you are not able to cancel it out. It last for over 12 sim hours which is EXCESSIVE
What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to cancel the event if I want and for the event to occur less often
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

The pet adoption drive occurs way too often.  I am not sure what is triggering the event.  I assume it is because I do not have a no pet rule for some of the tenants.  I also am not able to cancel the event and the event last over 12 sim hours.

    It happens to me too. Too often. It happened like 3 times during a 24h Simday. This time it started in one unit that has a "no pets" rule. It's too much. Is there an option in the settings that can be disabled until it's fixed?

    @JazzySmile For me it only happens if I use the option mentioned above. No drives if I don't use it. Was that different for you ?

    So far I've seen charity drives and pet adoption triggered that way.

    @crinrict I actually clicked on commend tenant once. My biggest gripe is that I cannot cancel the event once it starts which is ridiculous. It is also happening WAY TOO OFTEN. I have already started looking for a mod..LOL

    I am almost positive the first time it triggered I had not clicked on commend tenant.

    My current set up is I am living in the same building with two tenants. One tenant has the no pet rule and the second tenant does not.

    The incredibly long pet drive started without my landlord having commended a tenant. Then the pets were EVERYWHERE, invading the landlord's (active household) unit. Each unit in the building have a No Pets rule in place.

    Not to my knowledge. I think they were doing something benign like upgrading or practicing.

    @crinrict I can't remember really when it's triggered but I'll stop commending the tenants. Thanx for the tip.
