[OPEN] [HSY] Can't Wear Trendi Outfits From Inventory

I'm having this issue too. I designed an outfit at the thrift store, and then it wouldn't let me wear it so I couldn't promote it or anything. It also still shows as locked in CAS so I can't wear it. I was trying to create a wardrobe for my sim that was strictly items bought from the thrift store. I had no mods or cc either. I've tried repairing the game, deleting all the caches, and nothing seems to help.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to ThrifTea shop, make an outfit, go back to the Sim's home, try to change into the outfit, see that the "Put on Outfit" button does not appear.
What happens when the bug occurs? Button with option to put on the outfit does not appear when item is clicked in Inventory, though it can be favorite-ed and listed to sell
What do you expect to see? An option to put the outfit on, and then be able to put it on (which I have had glitch before--put on a different Trendi outfit, Sim switched outfits automatically for a different activity, and she did not put the Trendi outfit back on when I click the "Put on Outfit" button, then if I switch to a different outfit then try again, it works)
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? None
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No, unless updating my command line tools for XCode did something... but I don't see how or what that would have done. I use it for nothing related to Sims (I updated so I could use git with RStudio).

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? all except journey to Batuu and kits after bathroom clutter.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Some Trendi outfits break. Been in inventory a few weeks. load Wallace family in Copperdale of my save file. Kate Wallace's Inventory.
What happens when the bug occurs? Can only click Sell to Trendi or rename.
What do you expect to see? Wear or Put on Outfit option. 
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not in use.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No just noticed over time and tried on other outfits but this one didn't work.

I have the same issue and I can't believe it's been 2 years and this hasn't been fixed yet.

I wore a Trendi outfit I made, then I went ahead and put it on sale. After that, I am no longer able to wear any Trendi outfit. The option is not there any more for any other Trendi outfit in my inventory.

This happens in both a modded and unmodded save file on the latest patch as of May 6, 2024.
