I don't know if this is a bug or intended. My sim harvested a wild lily. She then planted two lily plants at home. Those plants also say Wild Lily Flower planted on the home lot. Also, then don't need tending (no water or weeding, etc. My level 10 gardener can Harvest, Harvest All, Collect Miscroscope Sample, Take Cutting, Remove Wild Plants, View Lily Flower. No Water, Weed or Spray for Bugs even grayed out - just not there at all.
I don't know either.

on the home lot did you try take a cutting from the wild lily then graft it to another plant when that plant is ready harvest it then from the inventory plant the harvested lily to see if it shows as normal when planted
i have a different issue i found a wild lily and it just has view over it and im a lvl 10 gardner i need it to start working towards a death flower
edit: turns out it was probly not ready for harvesting i tried a different area and got one.
In my very first Sim4 game this happened with a wild onion. I thought it was supposed to be that way as an insentive to build gardening skills up so you can graft.
Just wondering, but can you do anything with the wild lilies my sim harvested (put in vase, hang on wall)?

I've tested this with a clean file and with my original file which has grown since the first build and I didn't encounter this problem. Can everyone please post their Game/Expansion list as well as the version of their TS4 executable?
To locate the current version of your TS4 package, browse your file system to "The Sims 4\Game\Bin" then right click on TS4_x64.exe and select 'properties'. The version should be listed under the details tab.
I've added although it will probably be hard to duplicate.
First time ever seeing this, happened after the June 18th patch, with and without mods. Only for me, it's a snapdragon plant.
Could you make a new thread ? This is pretty old and doesn't use the template.
