[OPEN] Sims excessively flirt with others (no Loyal Trait)

I had a Love trait mod, removing it I didn't have no more issues on the flirting behavier

How can we find the bug ourselves? 

Attend a social gathering or have a family group conversation where a couple is present.

What happens when the bug occurs?

Sims conversations are on autopilot. Interactions I set for them are replaced by random flirty interactions, leading to romance relationship bars appearing suddenly half full with random Sims. Children are also caught up in flirty conversation and it turns awkward and negatively impacts the relationship.

What do you expect to see? 

I expect total control over my game. I expect my Sims romantic preference to dictate their romantic interest and not be ignored. I certainly do not expect flirty conversation with minors.

Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console, never used

Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No.

It's been happening for a long time in my game. I have to really keep an eye on the conversations. But it is worse since patch 1.71. The chats seem to run away with themselves now. I'd say they are 75% automatic. 

Today for example my Sim was at the Starlight Awards sitting in the chairs and actors began chatting with her, I'd shut them down but they'd start again. Before I knew it she was in a romantic interest relationship with the person next to her, against her romantic preferences. I looked everywhere for the Ask Just to be Friends command and finally found it. It then said they'd decided to end their romantic involvement. She had literally just started chatting.

It's also bothering me because she kept getting flirty teens around her because of her celebrity status and I was having to quickly shut down the chats to stop them flirting with her. She's a DJ and while behind the decks she gets a lot of chats starting autonomously, some flirty and she'll stop the tasks I've given her to chat of her own accord. Same with her Meet and Greet events.

I'm having the same problem with mischief interactions too and I'll add that again on the appropriate thread. I've previously reported it with mean interactions too. The whole conversation thing is a real problem and this shake up in patch 1.71 was a missed opportunity to put it right.

I have no NAPs set and it doesn't matter what their traits are. I never make romantic Sims or aspirations because it's been such a problem. They have flirty conversation options with all Sims regardless of their romantic preferences.

Parents cannot be in the same room together without flirting in conversations that include children or simply having flirty moods while tending to children and infants. Parents in a couple also become randomly flirty while their partner is not present.

I've just tried the infant life stage for the first time. Can we please do something about the flirty dynamic while around children?

Everytime my Sims are in the same room together they cannot calm themselves down. It's absolutely cringe. Daddy is taking care of the nappy changes with the maximum Flirty moodlets.

Can nobody see how inappropriate that is and for the love of Simlish, tone it down? I have to keep getting him cold showers but they don't work as soon as both parents are in the nursery they are off again with the flirty vibe.

So I had to start keeping them totally separate around the infant.

I've switched households now. Taking care of infants was time consuming enough without having to throw cold water over the parents.

Ugh, shudder, please find a solution.

This happens to me all the time, in any save, with any YA to elder, though sometimes also with teens (teens only flirt with other teens though). Whether or not they've got the loyal trait (which is probably still broken), any sim in a relationship will autonomously flirt with any random other sim regardless of romantic or woohoo preferences, causing the hurt moodlets if their partner is in sight. It's absolutely annoying and inappropriate that this just happens with autonomy off, and we have to babysit our sims to try to prevent spontaneous cheating for no good reason. The sims don't even have to be in a flirty mood for it to happen, at least for me.

I'm adding images of a Mother becoming flirty randomly, in conversation with her child. I mean, that is so disturbing. I'm also highlighting the moodlets explaining why she's so flirty and one of those has a teddy bear and says it's boosting her flirty emotion. It's horrible and it needs to be addressed urgently. It's worse since adding Growing Together. In this case the mother was nowhere near her husband and hadn't spoken to him that day. I deliberately don't let the parents speak now while the child is present because the child gets pulled into the flirty conversation. She made breakfast and suddenly became flirty. She sat down with her daughter and her flirty emotion got worse. She lost relationship with her daughter as a result even though I kept control of the conversation and chose funny interactions or chatting about school. I ended the conversation and her daughter headed to school. Her flirty emotion kept increasing and the image shows everything was setting it off from the fridge to the pool.

I have the same problem. They flirt excessively, even when they are not in a flirty mood, I asked and I wish the game give us an option to stop the romantic interactions, something that you can turn on or off. Believe me, I'm not a baby or a nun, but repeating and repeating the same flirty things all the time, or most of the time's annoying and bothers a lot. Frustrating. It pissed me off so much that I had to divorce, delete and now I don't play with couples. They talk in a flirty way to their children, conversations become awkward and/or offensive if a third person joins them, even if they are part of the family. Btw, I don't go anymore to the Romance Festival. I think it has happened after the two last updates. Before only happened for the ones who had "romantic" traits. If you can call that romantic, lol. I don't choose romantic traits anymore, all the contrary, I tried unflirty traits, no romance or genre interest, no woo-hoo, etc, and still they flirt randomly anyway.

I added my "me too" though I'm not sure it's a "bug".  The autonomous flirting has always been an issue in my game.  Regardless, like others who've posted here, I would like the flirting to be toned down.  It is excessive and just made worse since sentiments were introduced. 

It would be great if...

... conversation interactions excluded flirting for played sims (only available to select manually if desired, especially when game autonomy is switched off).
... conversation interactions excluded flirting by NPCs when sims are in a romantic relationship (unless those sims' relationships include romance or sims have the player trait).

... sims in a romantic relationship rejected flirty interactions (unless the sims' relationships include romance or sims have the player trait).

... there was an option to disable sentiments completely (the flirty moodlets from romantic sentiments are out of control; plus sentiments in general are the bane of my gameplay).

Jeg er enig i den overdrevne flirte ri. Jeg har ligeledes altid haft problemet i mit spil. (Har spillet sims4 siden det udkom.) For længe siden havde jeg en episode (juleaften) manden var pludselig i saunaen med sviger faderen, vupti - fuld romantik. Ødelagt familie. Jeg lukkede spillet ned uden at gemme. Flere spildte spilletimer. Sauna har ikke været i mit hus siden. Dengang havde jeg ikke en juleaften med bedsteforældre på besøg uden en evindelig flirte ri, og serenadesang. Samme flirten også i forhold til børn.  

Nuværende er jeg begyndt at afstille deres romantiske interesse inde i LES. Kun interesseret i Juhuu. Når begge parter har de efterfølgende kun 2 interaktioner i romantik. Herefter kan jeg vælge at blive juhuu partnere. Der giver et helt uromantisk, men kærligt forhold. Der kan også vælges "få et barn". Så de kan altså blive forældre. Jeg gør dem til ægtefæller i LES.

Altså ikke flere romantiske bryllupper hos mig. 

ALLIGEVEL, selv om bedsteforældre, venner og sågar rancharbejderen har samme indstilling, så hænder det fortsat at de kommer til huset, top romantiske. I vores danske forhold, ville de - i samværet med mine børn - straks blive anholdt for pædofili. Min teenagerdatter blev udsat for en meget kort henvendelse fra en ukendt teenager, der "pustede hjerter" i hovedet på hende, og vupti, havde de fuld romantik. Dette på trods af, at hun ikke var tiltrukket af piger. 

Selv om denne indstilling stort set fjerner den daglige flirten, så er den åbenbart så vigtig en del af EA' indstilling til sex/kærlighed, at den ikke kan fjernes. Jeg er fuld af undren, og foragt overfor denne holdning. 

Jeg ved der er børn ned til 11-12 års alderen der spiller SIMS. Jeg forstår ikke det ikke bliver stoppet.
