Hello,Every time I go into CAS and click on the ‘randomize from the gallery’ feature, I keep on getting the same sim. Every. Damn. Time. It’s the same sim.I’ve literally tried everything to fix this and contacted EA multiple times, but nothing works.

@FaShanableJust click the randomize button under the Sim in CAS.I don't know why Randomize from gallery don't work for you. I just tested and it worked fine. Have you checked that you can open the Gallery?

@crinrictIt happens when I press it again.For example: I randomize from gallery and get this sim called Wilbur. I exit the game and then open it again, randomize sim from gallery, and I’ll get Wilbur again.

Hello,

Just click the randomize button under the Sim in CAS.
I don't know why Randomize from gallery don't work for you. I just tested and it worked fine. Have you checked that you can open the Gallery?

The randomize sim button works fine, it’s the one from the gallery that’s bugging out.
My actual gallery is working fine too, I can see other people’s content and I am able to post my own, etc.
I really don’t know what the issue is.

It happens when I press it again.
For example: I randomize from gallery and get this sim called Wilbur. I exit the game and then open it again, randomize sim from gallery, and I’ll get Wilbur again.

@FaShanable But if you randomize again from the game without exiting, you get a different Sim ?

Like: Randomize from the gallery, get Wilbur, then press the button again and get Frida ?

The randomizer does tend to reset to a certain sim if you leave CAS and come back.

Yeah, even without exiting I still get Wilbur. No matter how many times I press the button.

@FaShanable Did you patch ? I just tried the button now and it seems not working at all for me now. It doesn't seem to actually pull Sims from the gallery. They are randomized but without name and traits which wasn't the case before.

They also look so awful that I can't believe a Simmer made them.

Download the new patch? I did, yes. But this bug has been in my game for months, I think my game is just broken. LOL.
Oh no, I’m sorry it’s happening to you. At least you get random sims, I’m just stuck with Wilbur. 💀

@FaShanable The button does have issues for month now.

It's like I have this now: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Randomize-From-Gallery-Is-Just-Plain-Random/m-p/10587086 while others are seeing this: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/OPEN-Randomizing-a-sim-from-the-gallery-is-not-working/m-p/6966641 and yours is different from that as well
