Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have an adult sim join the acting career. When the sim goes to an acting gig, follow the "Get into Hair and Makeup" task by clicking on the styling chair.
What happens when the bug occurs? The hair/makeup stylist will go to work on the actor sim, but the actor's hair and makeup will not change. Occasionally, it will change when the stylist gives the actor sim the wrong style, but once the style is corrected, the actor will look exactly the same as they did before they sat in the stylist chair. I have no issues with getting into costume, just with the hair and makeup.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see my sim's hair and/or makeup change after the "Get into Hair and Makeup" task is completed.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
I used to use custom content but I removed that several years ago. I've had none since before the problem started.
