Thank you. I still haven’t figured out how to navigate the EA Forums.

No no one owns it. But it is a restaurant I built up in another save and I use it in every save and it has always worked until Love Struck came out and now it doesn’t work on dates.

I have never used mods. 
I just checked and when my Sim created a date at chez llama it worked. But the problem was when another Sim asked my Sim out. 

Actually the date a Chez Llama didn’t work. My Sim could request a table so I thought it was going to work but the hostess kept seating other Sims but not mine.

I'm experiencing the same issue. Can't request a table on a date or when requested in a date. I play on Xbox. No mods or cheats. When I logged on the game did a update. Now It's not working!! 

After the update it still didn’t work for me. 😭 The option to request a table showed up but the host/hostess never seated them.

There is this older bug which I'm unsure if it's still happening but that was more that the tasks didn't complete and only if you owned the restaurant. Linking it anyways.

I have this as well now , if i create a date then send my sims to the restaurant they cannot get a table it just cancels after the host/hostess looks at the screen in front of them , No i do not own the restaurant in reply to a question the original poster was asked. 

I also put this on the new forums but on there i have never seen anyone from EA respond to the bug reports 

I can get a table no worries if my sims are not on a date

Yes and only for dates. When my Sim’s brother asked her to get a bite to eat the restaurant worked perfectly. Bars work for dates though.

I have tried multiple restaurants because I thought that could be the cause but it's not.  When off a date I can get a table easy-peasy.

This is happening to me as well - with dine out and lovestruck installed I can no longer request a table

We need an immediate fix/patch for this because it makes the dating/event system basically pointless. There are ways to work around it for now however that is the point of the love struck pack. I have this same issue, made a post about it as well.

I’ve replace lots and tried every restaurant in my toile worlds. I can’t be seated in any of them on a date

I play on console and having the same issue. Restaurants that I have been using successfully now cannot request table. 

I have been trying to dine out on a date, haven't tried dining alone yet.

Last used the restaurants a week ago with no problem.

I play on Xbox, all packs and expansions. This was working fine until the most recent update. I can request a table solo, but not on a date. 

I’m having the same issue since the last update. Have had this problem at two restaurants now. Other Sims get seated  but not mine. They walk up to Host Station and then nothing happens.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have your Sim use their phone to ask another Sim out on a date and go to any restaurant. When you arrive at the restaurant, go to the host podium, and request a table. 
What happens when the bug occurs? The host pushes buttons on the tablet (or whatever it is) on the host podium, and then shrugs.
What do you expect to see? The host giving my Sim and their date a table
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes, but I noticed several people who are playing the game withOUT mods and cc having this problem.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? I'm not sure, as I haven't had a Sim go out on a date since before the nursery and artist kits came out.

Restaurant dates are an important aspect to my Sims game. It's easier than going to any other venue for me. What is going on with this game here?

EDIT: Also, my Sims do not own the restaurant any of the restaurants in my game. This has happened so far with two restaurants. When they are NOT on a date, I can get a table. When they are on a date, the host will not give them a table.
