@rottenmeier Does your Sim have the Freegan trait?  Dive for Meals is the same thing as Dive for Ingredients.  Dive for Ingredients is only available to Sims with the Freegan trait.  The possible bug is Sims with the Freegan trait get both the options to Dive for Meals and Dive for Ingredients when both allow the Sim to either get meals or plants. 

See the images below.  Note:  I have the reduce and recycle trait on both lots.

Here are the options available to a Sim without the trait:

@SimGuruNick Are the tuning files for the Dive for Deals and the Dive for Ingredients supposed to be the same?

@Supermeringue Dive for Ingredients is only available if the Sim has the Freegan trait. Does your Sim have the trait?

    of course sim has, if not sim would not have the option to dive for ingredient.

    "Dive for Meals is the same thing as Dive for Ingredients"
    that was my initial remark, and the question if it supposed to be that way, or not. if it's supposed to be the same then it's redundant, and should be deleted from the freegan trait, of it's not supposed to be the same, then it needs to be fixed, that it's actual diving for ingridients with a different outcome. so either way it need to be fixed.
     to switch the name of the action for sims with the freegan trait from dive for meals into dive for ingredients, without any change of the action/outcome would also be useless and confusing and should be removed thereofore.  so all together, it needs to be fixed, in one or the other way.

    @rottenmeier I agree. It is confusing because there are two options that are exactly the same. They also didn't put the Freegan trait icon next to the option text to let you know it is a trait specific option.
    The Dive For Ingredients option goes with the Freegan trait Moodlet where they get a Moodlet for eating a meal without using ingredients.
