Aaaaaand......we're back to freezing up. It happens most when I click on an upload to see it bigger and try to fave it.

- @MadameNordica UPDATE: 7/20/21 patch has made this issue even worse. I cannot use the fave feature at all and I cannot see what I have and haven't faved in other's catalogs. If I try to use the fave feature it freezes my game making it unplayable 90% of the time (up from about 55%)
@crinrict not sure if you want me to make a new post or not for this but i also noticed some things you upload to gallery no longer have delete buttons to remove the upload like they should.
- @matthew1112 there's a thread for the spark uploads somewhere. If it's something else, yes, create a new thread.
To remove an upload from the gallery, you simply unshare it. The delete button is to delete an item from your library.
I even took my entire tray folder out and made an empty one to see if it would help, and it doesn't.If EA isn't going to fix the gallery, could they at LEAST make it so we're able to save game in cas before force shutting the game?????? I have lost countless HOURS of work due to this issue, and I can't seem to force myself NOT fave friend's work....@crinrict So update: there are particular simmers the gallery simply will NOT allow me to fave: TMone64 is one, WrathofCath is another. All wonderful builders who deserve to have my faves, but I can't - the gallery simply won't allow me - I click and nothing happens. There are more I can't fave, but I can't think of them right now. I don't know if it's something to do with their acct or mineand it doesn't matter whether it's via the actual post or sorting the gallery to ppl I folllow.

- How long does the game stay frozen before you decide to exit the game?
- Is your computer connected to the internet through Wi-Fi or an ethernet cable?
- Can you try this:
- Move your entire \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\ folder to another location on your computer, then start the game again. Do you still see the issue in the Gallery?
- @SimQARobo I am hardwired as I used to work from home to highspeed internet with an ethernet cable. I've tried this fix before and it didn't work. I've tried taking my tray folder completely out b/c I thought it was b/c I had too much in there, also didn't work. NOW the gallery freezes (and let's be clear, I'll wait 2-3 minutes and at that point, it's frozen) when I try to share or showcase creations - doesn't seem to matter if they are households or builds. It will freeze so I have to save and exit, then when I get the game reloaded and share it, it shares twice. What is going on? Sorry I answered your questions without bullets, but I think I answered all of them 🙂

I have the same issue. I've noticed that it especially happens if I am active on the gallery. I wait several minutes before restarting Sims. I can take all those steps but they are not working for anyone else, so...

- SimQARobo@MadameNordica Thanks for the info 🙂 . Just to be sure - did you try moving the entire \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\ folder, or only the Tray folder?
- @SimQARobo I've tried it both ways. No difference. I've tried the entire folder, the tray only and my saves only.

Strange.
- Is favoriting the only action in the Gallery that causes freezing for you? Do other actions like downloading and commenting work OK for you?
- Does the website version of the Gallery work OK for you? Are you able to favorite items there?
- @SimQARobo I can - it just takes forever and I cannot sort by ppl I'm following.
re: actions - no this faving is NOT the only action that I freeze up on - sometimes it is sharing or saving my own households or builds. It doesn't seem to have any rhyme or reason to lot type, household or whatever.
Commenting works ok, but I have arthritis in my hands, so I prefer to fave over typing a comment because then I can play longer, so for me this is an ACCESSIBILITY thing.
Sometimes when it freezes during upload it uploads twice or the og upload doesn't show up in my catalog so I upload again.
most times now when I am able to view gallery sorted by ppl I follow, it won't show that I've faved anyone, even though I have. I sometimes end up UN faving households or builds b/c of that. You can imagine how that makes the creators I'm unfaving feel. It's pretty rotten. - @SimQARobo Hi! Thanks for caring! LOL it will stay frozen indefinitely. I usually get up use the bathroom, get a drink whatever. 5 minutes later I come back it's still frozen. I've watched entire videos on youtube, still frozen (and I mean half hour documentaries).
I have already done the new game file thing b/c my pc needed repair, so that didn't work either, but thanks for the suggestion!
